Wine Bar Florence City Center: VINO AL VINO, a Must-Visit
September 24, 2026For travelers who discover a favorite bottle in Italy, getting it home can be as important as finding it in the first place. Vino al Vino, an iconic wine shop in central Florence, has become a reference point for personalized Italian wine shipments to the United States. Its appeal lies in the combination of a carefully chosen wine selection and a service built around each customer’s tastes.
At its shop in Borgo Ognissanti, Vino al Vino offers both familiar names and wines from smaller artisanal producers. Customers can start with a specific wish list or describe the styles they enjoy. The team then puts together a tailored proposal, taking into account the number of bottles and the customer’s budget.
A tailored way to buy Italian wine
A personalized shipment can be especially useful if you want more than a case of one wine. Vino al Vino can help you combine classics such as Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Barolo with Italian whites, sparkling wines or discoveries from lesser-known producers.
Selections can be arranged for 6, 12, 24, 36 or 48 bottles. Before ordering, customers can request a quote for the wines and the shipping options available for their US destination. There is no subscription requirement.
A Florence wine shop you can contact from home
You do not need to be in Italy to ask Vino al Vino for a wine selection. Customers in the United States can send a wish list or share their preferences remotely. Those visiting Florence can browse the shop and discuss their choices with the team in person.
For anyone looking for Italian wine shipping tailored to their taste, Vino al Vino is a compelling place to start: an established Florence address, a broad view of Italian wine and a direct, personal approach to building each order.
