A charming and welcoming atmosphere, a pleasant cuisine with high quality raw materials and great care given to detail, together with a superb wine cellar containing over three hundred labels from cellars that have been carefully selected and visited by Mihaela Ursu, the patron of the Bottega di Parigi.
With great enthusiasm and professionalism, Mihaela has passionately taken over this historic venue and heritage and this is immediately apparent when she "describes" the menu or recommends one of the wines, many of which can rarely be found in other restaurants, as a small place like this has to aim for quality. The furnishings in the pleasant main dining room have been renovated to create a truly intimate atmosphere and are completed by an attentive service that makes each client feel pampered.

The starters include Fassone steak tartare with egg, pickled honey mushrooms and green tomatoes, port flavoured liver paté with orange sauce and pain brioche, warm salad of Venus rice with octopus, olives and cherry tomatoes, and layered puff pastry of scallops and dried tomatoes on an aubergine puree. The first courses range from pici pasta with slightly spicy octopus sauce to maltagliati pasta with mantis shrimps and artichokes, chestnut flour and potato rolls with citrus flavoured duck ragout. The main fish courses express all their freshness in the devilled squid with sautéed chicory and Taggia olives or the baked fillet of croaker fish with artichokes and Patatas Nana chips; the meat dishes are also of excellent quality, however, like the buttered free-range chicken with red corn polenta. The restaurant’s historic cheesecake with orange marmalade is a must, though cannot be outdone by its cream profiteroles topped with warm bitter chocolate.

A pleasant all-female service.
Closed on Saturdays for lunch and on Sunday and Monday evenings.
