The philosophy of the restaurant L\u2019Antica Scuderia<\/h2>\n

Ristoro l’Antica Scuderia, a name that pays homage to the origins of this historic restaurant: once a shelter where riders stopped to rest and change their horses before continuing along the street called the “Gardingo di Passignano”, today an elegant and attention to every detail.<\/p>\n

We are in the classic Chianti, surrounded by green hills, in a tiny medieval village between Florence and Siena, right in front of the Badia di Passignano, one of the most beautiful artistic resources in Chianti. With relaxed senses, we are pleasantly guided on this food and wine journey characterized by the genuineness of the ingredients and dishes of the best Tuscan tradition.<\/p>\n

Stefano Puliti together with his wife Maria Abbarchini, and his daughter Elena and son-in-law Matteo, in the restaurant business for thirty years, have earned this longevity thanks to a deep passion in cooking and the desire to offer a service that is always discreet and refined.<\/p>\n

L\u2019Antica Scuderia Menu<\/h2>\n

The “philosophy” of the Ristoro is simple but effective: the menu varies according to the seasons, to ensure quality always at the highest level and to guarantee the scents and flavors of the most authentic Tuscany. In the kitchen these choices translate into traditional recipes that highlight the typicality of the products, seasoned with a pinch of natural creativity.<\/p>\n

Open with the platter of the Stables and the large plate of typical cheeses with compotes and mustards. This will be followed by the trendy tortelloni of Chianti with truffles and porcini mushrooms, rigatoni in fiore with saffron sauce and crispy ham and the pappa of the old stable.<\/p>\n

All the meats are of high quality and do not miss the cut of beef (with two peppers, with truffle, with juniper) or the alpine or truffle fillets, in addition to the tender Florentine steak.
\nDo not leave the place without trying a peasant focaccia, an Abbot pizza or a truffle shield, exclusively evening delights, incomparable delicacies fresh from the oven. The summer grills on sight.<\/p>\n

Wines of the Ristoro the Antica Scuderia<\/h2>\n

Prestigious labels accompany the rich banquet: Chianti, Supertuscan, Brunelli di Montalcino, and Champagne also served by the glass.<\/p>\n

Right next to it you will find the Bottega della Scuderia. In the wonderful garden, you can taste cutting boards, sandwiches and delicacies to be discovered, and with aperitifs with a panoramic view of the vineyards, often accompanied by live music.<\/p>\n
