The kingdom of steak. Situated only a stone’s throw from the main Santa Maria Novella station, this restaurant is characteristic for its intimate and friendly atmosphere and the best place for tasting a real Florentine T-bone steak.<\/div>

It is ideal for couples or groups of friends. The colour, flasks of wine and the cartwheels hanging on the walls of the interior, where every detail has been carefully designed to allow clients to fully enjoy the atmosphere, perfectly reflect the Tuscan tradition. The steak, famous for the way it is prepared and cooked here, in fact marks a highlight in this venue and is thus a source of pride. Good meat is essential for a good steak, which is why only the best CHIANINA meat from young heifers (Scottona) is selected .
The second courses also include a wide choice of steak fillets with different characteristics and origins. However quality is the key word that accompanies each dish on the menu, from the starters to the desserts. The menu also offers beautifully cooked fish and a selection of oysters.
The delicious starters comprehend the appetizer of the house composed of wild boar sausage, sheep’s cheese, pickled Boletus mushrooms, eggplants, tomatoes and artichokes or, alternatively mixed slices of Sienese belted pork (Cinta). The first courses are captivating, from the risotto with Boletus mushrooms, the tagliolini pasta with scampi to the ricotta and spinach ravioli with bacon and mushrooms, while the second courses are either based on meat or fish. The fillet of steak with Boletus mushrooms or truffles is a must, or one of the seafood platters, like the squid and prawns served with French fries. The grills are not just limited to simple steaks, but also include sliced fillet of steak with arugula and Parmesan. Excellent pizzas are also available. The highly recommended hot chocolate pie rounds off a perfect meal. Note that there is a wide range of important red and white Tuscan wines to suit every choice on the menu.<\/div>
