Deservedly among the best restaurants in Florence, Bistrot 84 Rosso deserves a place in the heart of Borgo Ognissanti, just a few steps from Santa Maria Novella.

The location of Bistrot 84 Rosso has a minimal and austere style, played on the alternation of black and white, as evidenced by the black marble table and white lights.

The restaurant menu is curated by the talented young chef Matteo Longhi, who proposes an elegant and imaginative cuisine that balances a contemporary style, with original fusion echoes, and effortless virtuosity in the interpretation of the vegetable world.

Among the dishes of great interest are the Rabbit with pine nuts, grapefruit, freekeh, and nduja, or the Sole with N25 caviar, burre blanc, and hazelnut. Very appealing are the Razor clam with lentils, black shallots, and lovage, or the Tandoori carrot with labneh and vadouvan.

The wine list, with an excellent quality-price ratio, is well-curated and balanced between iconic wines and niche enological choices, selected with great savoir-faire and an unequivocal preference for wines that express finesse rather than power. Hats off. Among the best restaurants in Florence for a modern and original style.

The tasting menus are two: Omnivore and Veggie, 5 courses at 90 euros and 7 courses at 110 euros.
